The deeply personal, often invisible emotional weight of navigating infertility

Fertility & reproductive health

Our approach

What can begin as a hopeful step forward can gradually become layered with uncertainty, disappointment, and pressure. You may find yourself navigating decisions, timelines, and expectations, while also carrying the emotional weight that comes with them, often quietly.

At Pearl Beech Psychology, this is a space where that experience is understood. Care is thoughtful, private, and grounded in the realities of fertility and reproductive health, offering support that helps you move through this process with greater steadiness, clarity, and self-compassion.

Our approach

what to expect

Fertility & reproductive health

Care is centered on supporting both the emotional and psychological impact of fertility and reproductive experiences. Therapy provides space to process uncertainty, manage anxiety, and navigate the ongoing shifts that can come with this journey.

The process begins with a thoughtful consultation to understand your experience and what support may be most helpful. From there, care is tailored to you, including session type and cadence, creating a structure that feels both supportive and sustainable.

Sessions are available individually or for couples, offered both in person in Bloomfield Hills and virtually, providing flexibility while maintaining a consistent, supportive experience.

Pearl Beech Psychology is led by Dr. Kristen Hering, PhD, a licensed clinical psychologist who works with women and couples who are used to being capable, composed, and high-functioning, even when things feel heavier underneath. Her work is centered around understanding the internal experience that often goes unseen, especially during seasons of anxiety, trauma, fertility and the journey into parenthood, and the transitions of pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood.

Many of the individuals who find their way here are not new to growth. They are thoughtful, self-aware, and ready for something deeper. This is a space where that level of work is understood and supported.
